A unique invitation for a few who feel called to join us ...
Now is the time of the deepest darkness — slowly moving towards more light. The cold slows the pace of liquid motion across all of nature. Fish still at the bottom of lakes and rivers. Fewer birds in flight. All plant life in hibernation.
Stillness.
Though fireworks and celebration come with the Gregorian new year, a strong resolve to move forward is not the energy that surrounds us in the natural world. All that is in stillness at this time will ease back into greater motion with the gradual shift of the seasonal cycle. The newness that will be born for/from all of us will materialize through its needed time of gestation.
At this time of deep winter, Julia & I are sending out a call
…a whisper
to those that recognize this quieter time and want their lives to animate change alongside natural occurring change, and for those that want to be close to land for a while and have the change in them gradually reveal itself through more natural and contemplative living.
We have space and dreamtime to share with those who wish to be in this flow. The invitation for a select few is to come join us on our land for an extended stay in our home of 7 days – 4 months in the natural wilder setting of winter …away from the city’s pace.
✨ INTENTION ✨ 🌗
The dream of change is incubating in and tantalizing both Julia and I and we wish to create some close community around it. We desire to share the birthing experience of what is coming for each of us as we move through winter & into the spring.
For Julia, it is the stillness itself and the magic of the informing dreamscape that is gestating the message from the future. It is a message of the support that the feminine yearns to be in….one that knowing sisters will surely hear. It is a message of deep surrender and letting go as the pathway into spring and the birth of clarity, wonder and newness. Kedar likes to say ‘a surrender so deep that spring just comes’.
For Ian it is the awareness of the wellspring of deep purpose with material dedication that is calling for incarnation. We both dream the dreams of what living wholesomely in community can be.
We have our energy in the dreamworld, in the animistic world, in medicine wheels, in human design, and always in embodiment and intuitive knowing.

We have a vision to create a small community — people with whom we can share the space of our home and this time of dreaming change and newness into being.
Our home becomes yours with lots of space to tend to your life, your work and your practices. Julia and I have many responsibilities and take the time and required privacy to meet them. That same luxury is yours. Our collective will decide on the times for coming together. We have lots of space indoors in which to relax, practice, enjoy food, stay warm, rest and contemplate. There is plenty of land to explore, a wood burning sauna & spring fed cold plunge, outdoor fire pits, starry skies and lots of fresh air and spring water.

Duration from 1 week to 30 days with the option to extend up to 4 months. Arrival as early as February 1, 2025 … up to end of May 2025.

Accommodations: Private rooms on a first come, first serve basis.
We envision sharing food preparation. You can bring your own food if you wish or we can discuss food sharing options.

Private room. Wifi. Utilities. Spring water. Shared common areas including large kitchen, piano room, library room, practise space, 14 acres of private land, wood burning sauna, spring fed cold plunge and outdoor fire pits. Our community explorations intended to support the dream of change we are holding for ourselves and the world at this time.
Private Room Stays $500 / 1 week and $1000 / 2 weeks and $1500- $2000 sliding scale / 30 days. Discounts for couples or friends sharing a room.

There are buses going daily from Toronto to Madoc, ON for $35-$40. We will pick you up from the bus station and drive you to our place. Search for Rider Express plus others.
